The last days of Summer

Daisies are such a sign of Summer to me.

With Autumn just around the corner and school starting back up I decided to try and capture one last image of Summer.

This flower was done with Albrecht Durer Watercolor pencils on #140 watercolor paper. I had fun doing this drawing of the flower from a different angle than you usually see.

What do you think?? Any Suggestions? I really need to find more time to play with these pencils.
I hope you are having a great change of the seasons,
Cheers! SB

I love it Stephanie! The petals look pluckable!

What a nice twist on the subject. I have some of the Durer WC pencils as well, but have never gotten such painterly results with them. Keep it up!

Beautiful! People forget to look and see the beauty of the whole flower. I really like this angle. The flowers in WA and OR are fabulous! Must be all that rain.
