DIY Wish Opal How to draw Doodlegems Ep 40

Welcome to 2017! Here's my first video of the year ready for you to enjoy. We are making our own wishes come true with this lovely Rainbow Opal and Dandelion Seedhead. I can hardly believe that this is Episode 40 of my Doodlegem Series!

Make sure to check out all the other videos. If you haven't ever done a doodle gem this is a great one to start with but make sure you check out Episode 1.

You can do this project on ANY paper and with any colored pencils as long as you have a Red, Blue, bright Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple and if you have a light purple too that's a bonus!

The Materials that I used are:
White Cardstock--Neenah 110lb cardstock but Bristol cardstock or any drawing paper will work.
Colored Pencils Prismacolor- Magenta, Orange, Canary Yellow, Spring Green, Indigo, Violet Blue, White and Colorless Blender
Sakura Pigma Micron Black Ink, size 02
Uniball Signo UM-153 White Ink

The most important things you need to be successful with any of my doodle gems projects are the willingness to learn and to be easy on yourself as you are learning. We tend to be our worst critics and we need to learn to be kind to ourselves.

I love the community that we are building here. We are caring and supportive of all levels of crafters, makers and Artists.

We have a great group on Facebook Come and join us!
