2009 first doodles of the year

Happy last day of January 2009!
I have started scanning in my doodles that I have been doing this year. These 4 are all only 3" each. I scanned them all together to make it quick and easy to get them posted.
I'll be posting more of my slightly larger doodles soon.
If feels so good to be creating art again. I have been doing several kinds of art lately. Machine embroidery, knitting and drawing. Yeah! I'm following through on my resolution to be more creative this year.

Cool doodles. You may have scanned them together for quickness/ease but they all look as if they belong together some how. The composition works well. Love the depth of colour on the blueberry pie. Fave doodle is dragonfly/mayfly
nice work, I love the dragonfly, have you tried coloring them in at all?
I love each one for so very many reasons...best of all though is that you are back!!! WooHoo! Your stippling on the blueberry torte is awesome...Really great illos and wonderful fresh patterns!
