I'm so excited to find Andrea Zuill of Badbird--She's super creative and she shares a new embroidery design each month for free. Here's one of my tea towels done with one of her free designs!
She's got a bit of the grumps about her but I just loved doing all that great hair!
Finally, we got a weekend with out rain! This is such a big deal here in the Pacific Northwest this year. We have been so soggy that every everyone was getting a bit grumpy. People's plants have either been drowned or eaten by giant ninja slugs.
We planted our tomato plants in pots this weekend and a couple peppers and some spaghetti squash. Not a lot of stuff but hopefully we will have some yummy veggies and not feed the sneaky slugs.
And in celebration of the great weather this weekend my hubby and I had Tea on the front porch. We finished the meal with these homemade scones!
Take care, be well and remember to do something creative!

I want some of those scones! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm trying to keep up with creative every day but not overwhelm readers. I enjoyed this post of yours - just a good everyday day.
I want the tea towels, and the scones... with whipped cream, of course. I have an addiction to tea towels. (ok AND scones) Yummy blog!
The towel designs are so sweet! The scones look like sheer bliss!
Your towels are beautiful and I am loving your grumpy princess!
Love the little grumpy girl! What fun!

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. It helped a lot.
I love your tea towels especially the grumpy little girl. She definitely made me smile.
Tea and scones on the front porch sounds great. I remember so many wonderful afternoons on our front porch as a teenager playing cards. Porches seem to create wonderful memories. Have a great week.
Your embroideries are wonderful. I also love that hair. But I'm not sure I could bring myself to use tea towels that had so much work in them and looked so beautiful!
it is so awesome to see such an old and old-fashioned thing like embroidery updated so magically by your work! these designs, the girl with the crown and this bird are absolutely wondrous! i might have to get out my embroidery floss!
I came back to look and drool over the scones since I can't get to it through the computer screen! They look Deeee-li-cious!!
