How to draw Snowflake Obsidian Doodlegem Tutorial ep 43

Here we go! Snowflake Obsidian Doodlegem is the stone of the day!

This stone was a request by a lovely community member on my previous video for the January Garnet Birthstone.

I LOVE our community of creative people we have here on Youtube, and especially the folks that come and hang out with me in the comments after watching my videos. :) This viewer had said that she loves snowflake obsidian and would like to learn how to draw it up. I fell in love with this stone. It is really easy to do and gives you a lot of bang for your time. It comes together quickly with very few pencils needed.

Here's the list of materials I used:
Neenah 110lb cardstock Solar White - You can use any paper that you have available!

White Gel Ink Pen-- I used the Uniball Signo UM-153
Black Fine Line Pen- I used the Pigma Micron Black 02

Prismacolor Colored Pencils:
Black, White, 10% Cool Grey, 70% Warm Grey, Cloud Blue, Indigo Blue and a Colorless Blender.

If doing this is any other pencils You will still really want to have a Prismacolor White and Colorless Blender. And then you just need to add Black, light Grey, Medium Grey, Pale Blue, and Dark Blue.

The most important things you need to be successful with any of my doodle gems projects are the willingness to learn and to be easy on yourself as you are learning. We tend to be our worst critics and we need to learn to be kind to ourselves.

I love the community that we are building here. We are caring and supportive of all levels of crafters, makers and Artists.
